Veteran's Day

There are so many veterans who have given up their lives for us, not just in dying, but also in living. I want to honor all with my gratefulness & prayers. I thank God for each & every one of you & you for your service to this country. I'm afraid if I get any sappier, I will cry again. I don't have a bunch of pics of "my veterans" to share, there are quite a few in my family, but I leave you with two that I am very proud of.

It is the veteran, not the preacher,
who has given us freedom of religion,

It is the veteran, not the reporter,
who has given us freedom of the press,

It is the veteran, not the poet,
who has given us freedom of speech,

It is the veteran, not the campus organizer,
who has given us freedom to assemble,

It is the veteran, not the lawyer,
who has given us the right to a fair trail,

It is the veteran, not the politician,
who has given us the right to vote,

It is you, whom we owe much,
We will never forget you.

Have a blessed Veteran's Day & enjoy your freedom!
